Meet the Strength & Bloom team

Strength & Bloom was created to give women a place where they feel supported, guided and confident.

Since opening our doors in 2019, we’ve worked with thousands of women across Surrey who simply wanted to feel stronger, have more energy and enjoy exercise again.

The Strength & Bloom story

What started as a small programme designed to teach women how to lift weights safely while nourishing their bodies has grown into a thriving community where women of all abilities train together, support one another and discover what they’re truly capable of — while looking after both their physical and mental wellbeing.

Our team of coaches are here to guide you every step of the way.
Every session is fully coached, every woman is supported, and no one is left to figure things out alone.

Strength & Bloom isn’t just about workouts.

It’s about helping women feel strong, confident and truly at home in their bodies.

Today, that same programme is still running in our women-only gyms in Surrey and has helped thousands of women discover just how strong they really are.

Meet the Strength & Bloom team

  • Emma founded Strength & Bloom after recognising a huge gap in the fitness industry. Many women were being told they should strength train, but very few were being shown how to do it safely in an environment where they felt comfortable enough to start.

What began as a small 6-week programme in her mum’s back garden has since grown into a thriving community of women across Surrey who train together, support one another and build strength for life.

Emma’s vision has always been simple:
to create spaces where women feel supported, educated and confident in their health.

  • Hi, I’m Laura!

I've always been passionate about fitness and nutrition, so in 2020, I decided to swap my desk job for a more fulfilling path and qualified as a personal trainer. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to helping women discover their own strengths and realize what they are truly capable of achieving. I've also earned qualifications in nutrition coaching, Pilates, and pre and postnatal fitness.

Personal experiences with my own body have shown me how crucial physical health is and how it should never be taken for granted. I believe community in fitness is incredibly important, which is why TNA is so special to me. I love being part of an environment that makes health and fitness accessible to all women.

As a coach, my goal is to help you enjoy your workouts and understand and work with your body, rather than feeling like it’s working against you!

  • Hey, I'm Sarah!

Having been a serial dieter since the age of 14, I spent my 40s and 50s at a weight I accepted as okay, but I lived with the constant fear of overeating and an unhealthy 'good' and 'bad' attitude toward food. In 2018, Emma worked gently and determinedly with me to let go of my food restrictions, tune into my body and hunger hormones, and get myself feeling fit and healthy.

The confidence I now have in my body and myself led me to qualify as a trainer and coach with TNA, to help women through the process I have been through. I believe all women deserve to feel good in their own skin and recognise the positive impact that healthy nutrition and fitness have on our lives.

  • Hi, I’m Jeanette!

Asides from a bit of open water swimming, I have never really been interested in sport and fitness and have always had a love/hate relationship with food. I was your classic yo-yo dieter, and tried pretty much every ‘diet’ under the sun from Slimfast to Atkins only to come away from every single one bigger than I started and never wishing to go back once I'd fallen off the wagon.

Then I found Emma and TNA! I’m now pretty proud to say I was one of the original members from day 1; I am still here and still going despite having had 101 excuses to quit during that time. I come out of every workout feeling like I can conquer the world as its completely tailored to what I can and can’t do at that moment but always pushes me beyond where I think I can go. Whilst I have had a lot of health distractions, I am just starting to bring my focus back to my nutrition and TNA are there again to help me, to avoid the pit falls, to help keep me motivated and to keep me accountable.

Now, I get to give back by helping behind the scenes with the admin, as the company expands to its second location – such an exciting time! I’m also here with an empathetic ear and words of encouragement if and when needed.

  • Hey, I'm Savannah!

I discovered my passion for fitness and wellbeing early on, which led me to complete a degree in Sport and Exercise Science in 2022 and pursue a career in personal training. Through my own training journey, I’ve experienced the frustrations of yo-yo dieting and hours of cardio with little result, until I found a more effective and sustainable way to build strength, lose fat, and feel good in my body.

My approach is all about helping women feel their best from the inside out. I focus on creating realistic habits that make fitness and nutrition enjoyable, while providing the accountability and support needed to make lasting change.

What drew me to TNA is its empowering community and mission to make health and strength accessible to all women. I’m here to show you that real progress is possible and that you don’t have to do it alone. It’s not about chasing perfection, but about feeling strong, confident, and full of life.

  • Hey, I’m Chloe!

I've been working in the fitness industry for the past eight years. My love for movement and health started with my background in dance, where I practiced and competed in Freestyle Disco dancing from ages 12 to 22. I went on to study Contemporary Dance at the University of Dundee in Scotland. After moving south to pursue a professional dance career, I quickly realised that the competitive and uncertain nature of the performance industry wasn’t for me. However, I was passionate about pursuing a movement-based career.

Fast forward, and I have built a rewarding career in the fitness and wellness space, teaching various exercises such as Pilates, Spin, Dance Fitness, Barre, and Strength and Conditioning in one-on-one and small group settings.

My teaching style aims to create a comfortable, supportive, and enjoyable environment where people can explore movement in all its forms, building their physical and mental health. I love seeing people positively progress in how they feel in their bodies and minds, gain control and connection to their health, and improve their daily lives and resilience to life's ups and downs.

I feel very lucky to be part of TNA and its mission to prioritize women’s health, helping women increase their confidence through all stages of life within this amazing community.

  • Hi, I’m Ash!

My fitness journey began just a few years ago when I discovered a love for powerlifting through small-group personal training. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a passion, and I’ve since had the honour of competing for the British Junior team in both Slovenia and the Czech Republic. These experiences have equipped me with a deep understanding of strength training, technical skill, and mindset insights I now bring into my coaching.

As a coach, I’m focused on helping you build confidence, not just in the gym but in all areas of life. I take a personalised, goal-driven approach, tailoring everything to suit your individual needs and long-term progress.

Being part of The Nourishment Academy means being surrounded by an empowering, supportive community and I’m so excited to help you feel stronger, more capable, and ready to take on whatever life throws your way.
